Carbon Canyon Regional Park offers many recreational opportunities. Those interested in active sports will enjoy the eight tennis courts which are lighted for night use; three sand volleyball courts and a multipurpose field provide for active group sports; two backstops are available on a first-come, first-served basis for softball games.
Five fully equipped tot lots offer adventure and enjoyment for the younger visitors. A one and a half mile bike trail is also available. Picnic areas are located throughout the park including nine covered ramadas with braziers.
A group shelter provides sinks, counters, picnic tables and stoves for group reservations. Fees are required and groups of up to 350 people maximum may be accommodated by contacting the park office. A beautiful 4 acre lake rounds out the opportunities. Two fishing piers are provided. A fishing license is required of any person 16 years of age or older.

Interpretive Center: Carbon Canyon’s Nature Center offers a variety of hands-on activities for children. Learn about birds, bugs, and animals native to the area. Explore the trail to a Coastal Redwood grove. The Nature Center is open Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
